答案为C,想问的是：ink是可数名词吗？
.别的都不行。
2.没有任何词可以说是绝对的可不可数，总有要具体问题具体分析的时候，这里可以理解为
A thicker(kind of) ink 或是 直接把ink当“一种墨水”讲。
20.(At end)(A) of the Civil War the United States was ready: (to resume)(B)
with a roaring (surge)(C) the westward expansion: which had been interrupted
(for four)(D) years.: 答案为A，当然应该为At the end,
可我觉得整句话也不对呀？the westward: expansion前面应该要有动词吧？
这里的 “with a roaring surge"是插入语，盖住再看就明白了,应该是"to
resume the westward expansion ..."
