National Youth and Children's Palace Association

National Youth and Children's Palace  Association (NYCPA) is the national organization including Youth Place, Children's Palace led by Communist Youth League of China, including Youth Palace, Children's Palace, Youth & Children's Place, Youth & Children activity center, NYSP was established on September 19, 1988 . And its major tasks are as follows:

To safeguard the Youth and Children's interests; to direct the work of provincial Youth and Children's Place, the exchanges of organizational work and to appraise the advanced workers and groups; to study the systems and policies to create the excellent external circumstances of the construction and development of Youth and Children's Palace; to train the working staff for Youth and Children's Palace and to help them to improve the political consciousness and the professional ability; to enforce the management , exploitation and application and to improve the social interests, talent interests and economic interests; to explore the new fields to cooperate with the parties concerned; to set up the places for Youth and Children and to carry out the international exchanges of outside school education. NYCPA constitutes unit membership, including 146 members, 48 members of a board of directors and 15 routine work members of a board of directors. Managing directors' conference is held once a year, directors' conference once a year and the overall members' conference once every other 4 years.

NYCPA consists of one president, one vice- president, one secretary-general and three vice general-secretaries.

The office of the secretariat of NYCPA, dealing with daily work, is located in the office of the department of propaganda.

The bimonthly magazine for NYCPA is “China National Youth & Children Palace”. NYCPA appraises and awards the prize once every other 2 years to “National Advanced Youth and Children's Palace”. “the Advanced workers of National Youth and Children's Palace.”.

The badge of NYCPA is the abstract Pattern composed of the first English letter “Y” and first letter of phonetic alphabet “G”, symbolizing the close relation between developing cause of Youth and Children's Palace and The Communist Youth League of China.
