A group of middle school teachers in the Haidian District of Beijing are receiving training for sex education courses which will begin in the autumn semester, according to the "Beijing Times". 

From September 1, middle school students in the Haidian District will have a new textbook "Direction on Sexual Health", tobe used in conjunction with the new course. 

The teachers who are now receiving training will offer about 20courses on the subject per semester. 

Experts note it is the right time to begin holding sex education courses, and more efforts should be made to develop teaching materials for these courses.
