of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), pledged
to continue China's reform, opening-up drive and modernization cause.
Hu made the remark when meeting with
Chinese and foreign journalists covering the 16th CPC National Congress
Friday morning in the Great Hall of the People.
Hu said that guided and inspired by the

would further show the rest of the world its sound image of keeping pace
with the times and the pioneering spirit.
He said that the whole Party and people
